Every year we refine our gear based on what actually works in the field — not what looks cool on YouTube. Here's our current setup.
Camera Bodies
Primary: Sony FX6 Our workhorse. Full-frame sensor, incredible autofocus, and internal 4K 120fps. The dual base ISO means it handles low-light reception halls as well as midday ceremonies.
Secondary: Sony A7S III The ultimate B-cam. Compact enough for gimbal work, powerful enough for A-cam duty when needed.
Lenses
- Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II — Our most-used lens. Sharp, fast, versatile.
- Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM — For portraits and ceremony close-ups. The bokeh is unmatched.
- Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art — The go-to for wide storytelling shots and details.
Stabilization
DJI RS3 Pro — The gimbal we trust for all movement shots. The LiDAR focus system is a game-changer for solo operators.
Audio
- Rode Wireless GO II — Clip on, forget about it. Reliable backup audio every time.
- Zoom F3 — 32-bit float recording means we never clip audio. Worth every penny.
Editing
We edit in DaVinci Resolve Studio for maximum color control and deliver in Dolby Vision when displays support it.
