SKYTONA
A clear explanation of how and why we use cookies across our platform. No surprises, no hidden tracking.
Last updated: March 2026
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are used by virtually every website on the internet and serve a range of purposes, from keeping you logged in to remembering your preferences.
Cookies can be categorized in two ways:
We use cookies primarily for two reasons: to make our platform work correctly and to remember your preferences. That is the extent of it.
We do not use cookies for invasive behavioral tracking. We do not use cookies for advertising profiling. We do not sell cookie data to third parties or participate in cross-site tracking networks.
Our philosophy: collect only what serves a clear, legitimate purpose. Every cookie on our platform exists because it improves your experience or protects the security of your account. If a cookie does not meet that standard, it does not belong here.
The sections below detail exactly which cookies we use, what each one does, who sets it, and how long it lasts.
Essential cookies are required for our platform to function. Without them, core features like authentication, security, and routing would not work. These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking critical functionality.
Note: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to any Skytona portal (home.skytona.com, work.skytona.com) and may disrupt your experience on skytona.com.
When you log in to the Skytona platform, cookies are set to manage your session. These keep you securely logged in as you navigate between pages. They include an access token for verifying your identity and a refresh token for renewing your session without requiring you to log in again. These expire when you log out or after the session timeout period.
We use a CSRF token cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery. This ensures that form submissions and actions originate from our platform and not from a malicious third party. This cookie is session-based and is regenerated with each session.
Our hosting infrastructure uses cookies to route your requests to the correct server. This ensures consistent performance and reliable page delivery. These cookies are session-based and contain no personal information.
Functional cookies remember your choices and preferences to enhance your experience on our platform. They are not strictly necessary for the site to operate, but removing them means you will need to re-select your preferences on each visit.
Skytona supports both light and dark display modes. When you select a theme, a cookie stores that preference so it persists across visits and page loads. This is a persistent cookie with a duration of 1 year.
If you are using our wedding configurator or business diagnosis tool, a session cookie temporarily saves your inputs and progress. This prevents you from losing your selections if you navigate away or accidentally close the page. The data is cleared when your browser session ends.
We store your regional and language preferences in a persistent cookie so that date formats, currency displays, and content are presented in the format most relevant to you. This cookie has a duration of 1 year.
Third-party cookies are set by external services integrated into our platform. We select these partners carefully and only integrate services that are essential to our operations. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles cookie data.
When you access a page with a payment form (such as during booking or purchasing a package), our payment processor sets cookies to detect fraud and process transactions securely. These cookies are only active on pages that contain payment forms.
When you view video content in the Cinema Room or on our marketing pages, our video hosting provider sets cookies for playback functionality and basic analytics (such as play count and watch duration).
If enabled, our hosting provider offers lightweight, privacy-focused analytics. No personal data is collected. These analytics are used solely to understand page performance and aggregate visitor counts. They do not track individual users across sites and do not create user profiles.
What we do not use: We do not use cookies from advertising networks, social media trackers, retargeting platforms, or any service whose primary purpose is behavioral profiling. No Facebook Pixel. No Google Ads. No cross-site tracking of any kind.
You have full control over the cookies stored on your device. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Below are instructions for the most common browsers.
You can also clear all cookies at any time through your browser's history or privacy settings.
Important: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and will break core platform functionality, including payment processing and session management. Disabling functional cookies means preferences (such as your theme selection) will not persist between visits.
For cookies set by third-party services, you can refer to each provider's own privacy policy for specific opt-out mechanisms. The provider names listed in the Cookie Details table above can be used to look up their respective policies. You can also contact us at privacy@skytona.com if you need guidance.
If you have questions about how we use cookies, or if you need assistance managing your cookie preferences, reach out to us directly.
We review and update this policy as our platform evolves or as new cookies are introduced. When significant changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the revision.
