Why we do Story Calls
The Story Call is where logistics and meaning meet. We talk through the people, relationships, moments, and priorities that cannot be understood from a timeline alone.
This helps the film feel specific to you. It also helps us move through the wedding day with more intention and less guesswork.
How to prepare
Before the call, complete as much of your planning workspace as you can. Bring anything that feels emotionally important, sensitive, surprising, or easy to miss.
- Review your timeline and locations.
- Think about people we should recognize by name.
- Tell us about private vows, letters, speeches, or family moments.
- Mention any privacy boundaries or family dynamics we should know.
